UH DE classes costs the same as traditional face-to-face classes, and DE students receive the same benefits as all UH students through their tuition and fee payments. Depending upon the specific class or college, there could also be additional fees.
Here are some additional links regarding both undergraduate and graduate costs:
Any student applying to UH or enrolled in DE classes can apply for financial assistance. Based on your application and classification, you may be eligible for scholarships, grants, loans, work-study opportunities, or other financial incentives.
You can apply for financial aid at the same time you apply for admission, or any time afterwards. The financial aid process and award packages for distance education students are the same as for all other UH students. Your financial aid application is separate and not considered in the decision to admit you to UH.
To apply for financial aid, you need to complete a Financial Aid Federal Services Application (FAFSA). Completing your FAFSA application online is the fastest way to complete the application process.
The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid has more information on eligibility, the types of financial aid available, and Financial Aid Officers who can help you with questions.
