The Pathway to DE is an online orientation designed for both prospective and current students to inform them about distance education at UH, and is separate from other mandatory freshman and transfer orientations. Students often aren’t able to access Blackboard or other content from their instructors until the first day of classes. The Pathway provides an opportunity for students to receive information before classes.
Besides providing in-depth information about DE at UH, you can also access course materials posted by your instructor once you complete the orientation, including your syllabus or class previews, plus other valuable information that will help you succeed as a DE student.
