Admission to UH

To enroll in distance education classes, you must be admitted to the University of Houston.

Here are a few steps that you’ll need to complete:

  • The application. Apply online using ApplyTexas.
  • The $50 application fee. You may pay this with a credit card when you submit your application or send a check or money order to the Office of Admissions.
  • Your college transcripts.Please send official transcripts from all colleges and institutions previously attended. Electronic transcripts are preferred.
  • Your test scores. If you graduate from a high school in a country where the native language is not English, and you have not received an associate’s degree from a U.S. regionally accredited institution, then you will need to also submit TOEFL scores.
  • Mail application, fee, and documents to:
