Scott received both of his degrees from UH, an undergraduate degree in Management and a master’s degree in Public Administration, and is a proud Life Member in the UH Alumni Association and avid supporter of all things involving the Cougars. While completing his graduate degree, he was a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Political Science. Currently, Scott is a Program Manager responsible for Distance Education Student Services, support for DE instructors (excluding instructional designing), and Weekend U.

Gladys is a proud and native Houstonian, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a concentration in Political Science from the University of Houston-Downtown in December 2006. She is a first generation college graduate and knows the struggles and challenges many students face. Gladys enjoys working with students to help them achieve their goals of pursuing a higher education, and has worked in the UH System for about five years in different capacities, such as counseling, recruiting, and student services. She’s currently a Distance Education Academic Advisor II based at UHS-Cinco Ranch in Katy, and works with current and prospective UH distance education students, providing them with general student services and academic advising.

Paul has worked in higher education for five years, providing counseling, advising, recruitment, and student services at community colleges and universities. He provides academic advising and student services for current and prospective UH students who attend courses online, by correspondence, and at UH System Teaching Centers. Paul is currently a Distance Education Academic Advisor II based at UHS-Sugar Land, and strives to provide optimal service for all student and families in order to support their pursuit of academic and career goals.
